The day finally arrived – it was a bit earlier than originally expected, but welcome nonetheless. The day was last Wednesday, June 18, 2008 and events started with a phone call - (just like in the movies). It was pretty exciting. And, with the usage of web2.0 socialization technologies Flickr and Twitter, I was able to blog events in near real-time with my BlackBerry. (I know.. I know.. it’s sooo “Jimmy Olsen” of me):

Time is just flying by – the older we get, the faster time seems to progress. Megan’s Preschool graduation was this past Friday and it only seems like yesterday when the good ‘ol doctor helped deliver her. Alright, I know. It was just Preschool, not like it was High School, or College, or something, but I’m sure like with a blink of the eye, that day too will come.

Sorry, the site has been up and down intermittently for the past couple of weeks and I think I found the cause of the problem. Actually, before I try and take all the credit, because I’m such an extraordinaire computer consultant, I’ll have you know that Elizabeth actually figured it out. But I am still an extraordinaire computer consultant – I am. Well, basically, the network cable that I have hooked up to the server is a bit short and Elizabeth found out it wasn’t actually properly connected to the router.
What does this actually mean? Well, box 1 was not plugged into box 2.
