We are actually considering breaking our lease with the current apartment, hocking the car, and finding something a little bit more metropolitan. We're torn at the moment between living in Manhattan and having conveniences or staying in Olde Towne Brooklyn and actually, for the first time in my life, have a bank account.

Elizabeth asked me where I would like us to reside.
"Somewhere in the Upper West Side," I answered, "On the second floor of a small Brownstone, on a quiet street. Y'know? Like Meg Ryan in that movie…"
     "Sleepless…"
     "after that…You've"
     "…You've got mail," she interrupted, "Hmm…I dunno…"
She looked quizzical. "What did you have in mind?" I asked.
She paused and turned her head in a few directions and stated, "I would like to live somewhere with a terrace. One of those places that you can walk out upon from your apartment way up about twenty floors and have a garden…and a few trees."
     "Really?"
"Yeah. That's very New York. Very…"
"Like those old movies on TV where we could wear turtlenecks, assume a dashing stance, place my hands on the balcony railing…like I own this city?"
Elizabeth let out a giggle, "That would be nice."
"Playing Nintendo would really be excellent amongst all the skyscrapers huh?"
     "Yeah," We both laughed agreeably.
"Hey, we would have really cool neighbors too," I said.
     "Would they be movie stars?"
"You bet," I said, "Madonna or something."
     "Madonna?" she seemed slightly disappointed.
"Hmm… not like we could really hang out with her huh?"
"She doesn't seem like the friendly type."
"No. I guess you're right. Hmm… How about Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman? They're looking for a place in the city!"
     "You think?" she asked.
"Yeah…we could be like 'Hey …Tom er….How's Nicole doin?' or something like that."
     "Would they be friendly?"
     "Supposedly."
     "We could baby-sit their kids…" I said.
"…Teach them bad words in Chinese and Vietnamese?"
     "That too."
"You think they like Nintendo?" she asked.
     "I think so."
