y favorite movie is the ever famous cult-like flick, Blade Runner.  Although its pretty neat that this film has received legendary status over the passed few years, this is not the reason why this is my favorite film.

One summer, my father came to pick me up at the end of one of my summer stays at Camp Talcott.  We stayed overnight in a town called Matamorris, Pennsylvania before returning to Brooklyn.  He took me to a drive-in theatre that night.  I remember the place was showing a double feature, of which the first film I cannot remember.  It started raining lightly and this made it difficult to see through the windshield.  But, by the time it came to show the second film the rain had let up.  The second film was an unknown film called "Blade Runner."

I remember how remarkable Blade Runner looked through the drizzle covered glass.  After all, its a pretty dark rainy film itself.  My father slept through most of it, but it was still pretty neat.  It was the first time I had ever been to a drive-in.
